These Drive/Drive Cape York tours will typically visit all the feature “must see” places. These include Lakefield National Park, Chili Beach and Portland Roads which are on the East coast of “The Tip” and inside the Iron Range National Park, plus Weipa on the West coast of “The Tip” and allowing ample time to then visit Thursday and Horn Islands up at the North of Australia. The Cape York tour vehicles are modern, air-conditioned 6-21 seat Isuzu, Toyota, Mitsubishi and similar purpose-built 4WD safari vehicles with comfortable forward facing cloth seats.
